What we do

Let’s build movements that feel like sanctuary.

Today’s crises are not just environmental or political. They’re relational. Emotional. Existential. And civil society is stretched thin and under siege and is breaking under the weight of this moment.

The backlash is real. But so is the possibility.
What comes next will depend on how well we can adapt, connect, and care for one another.

To resource the leaders who are holding it all.

We support emerging and established leaders, especially women, LGBTQIA+ folks, and global majority organisers, with the tools, coaching, and peer learning they need to sustain advocacy in volatile contexts.

To tend the spaces where movements can build together.

We bring together leaders across movements to reflect, elevate grassroots wisdom and deepen understanding of complex, systemic issues to build people powered strategies for long term change.

To make care and connection core to how change happens.

We invest in regenerative rhythms. Practices of rest, reflection, and repair because we know sustainable activism isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing differently.

We are not here to return to normal.

We are here to grow something bold, relational, and rooted.
Something that can hold grief and joy. Slowness and urgency. Imagination and strategy.

Because what we’re fighting for isn’t just justice, it’s a way of being that refuses to sacrifice ourselves in the process.

Let’s build movements that feel like sanctuary.
Where care is not an afterthought, but the architecture.
Where resilience is not about endurance, but about regeneration.
Where rest is not retreat, it’s resistance.

We are Intertidal. We’re here to collaborate and build what comes next.
